Zinc Bromide 20.8ppg is a single salt (ZnBr2) clear brine fluid with a density of 20.8 pounds per gallon. This material is an Environmental Hazardous Substance Liquid, N.O.S., Class 9, UN3082, PG III, Marine Pollutant It has the following feature and benefits:
- It is non-damaging to the formation,
- It is thermally and chemically stable,
- It can be blended with other solutions containing bromides and chlorides, and
- It contains 72% (by weight) zinc bromide in solution.
It is a Solids-free brine used in completion fluids and can be blended with other Bromides and Chlorides solutions to formulate non-damaging fluids of densities from 15.1ppg to 20.8ppg.
