Sodium Bromide 45% solution is a single salt (NaBr) clear brine fluid with a density of 12.5 pounds per gallon. It has the following feature and benefits:
- It is non-damaging to the formation,
- It is thermally and chemically stable,
- It can be blended with other solutions of bromides and chlorides, and
It is especially useful when used in formations that are known to have calcium sensitivity.
It is a Solids-free brine used in completion fluids and can be blended with Sodium Chloride brine to formulate non-damaging fluids of densities from 10.0ppg to 12.5ppg.
